Nestled in the lush heart of Dubai's Al Barari community, this 150 sqm apartment was reimagined as a warm and soulful sanctuary that echoes the surrounding greenery. The brief was to create a home that feels like an extension of the landscape—a space where mid-century influences and contemporary sensibilities coexist with ease, and where natural light, flow, and materiality guide the design language.

Onda introduces a dynamic spatial topography that enhances the dining experience through varied elevations, ensuring a discreet yet impactful presence of the bar. The design features a series of rich, deep red leather sofas by Living Divani, forming a continuous seating arrangement that offers a comprehensive view of the dining space.

CMPLX Commercial Space / BONE

CMPLX is a conjuration of seven warehouses at the heart of Al Quoz, forming part of the Arts and Culture District. In response to current social considerations, a blind facade and staggered arrangement were implemented to isolate users from the surrounding streets.

Modularity falls into place when experimenting with the concept of form, the more objects come together, the stronger the form appears. These blocks turn into functional spaces.

Erth is an immersive dining experience of Emirati Cuisine located in Qasr Al Hosn. It pays homage to the humility and generosity of old Emirati culinary and cultural practices. Emirati cooking processes played a significant role in influencing the design direction of the space as it helped reinterpret the conventional restaurant typology into one that accommodates for the dynamic nature of Emirati cooking.
