The site is located in a residential area of central Hyderabad, surrounded by other houses. Two existing structures - a two-story house and a small clinic, both built in the 80s - were separated by a large garden, shaded by old mango trees. The brief was to build a home for the client's family that would reflect their new space requirements and contemporary taste. In addition, a small office + production space and staff quarters were to be accommodated.

The site is located in a large coffee estate in Naladi village, Coorg district in Karnataka. The building is a part of a larger wilderness collective development project. When the present owners took over this estate, parts of the estate had been taken over by nature. The site of the bungalow was discovered within this wilderness at the ruins of an old staff quarters.

The project is an addition-extension project in a building housing multiple families. Deepthi and Hemanth lived on the lower floor with their parents. The upper floor previously consisted of a small home for Hemanth's uncle and an open terrace.

Located in an old tea estate in the Nilgiris, the project is a Vedanta, Ayurveda, and Yoga Retreat with 39 rooms, a reception, and a restaurant on a steeply sloping land. Each building's orientation was decided on-site to maximize the views of the valley and hills to the north.

Sai Kirupa Special School provides specialized education and vocational training to children and young adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other learning disabilities. For their new campus in Tirupur, the school envisioned a center focused on the holistic development of students, fostering independence and self-reliance. The design of the campus reflects a thoughtful response to the diverse needs of its users, creating an environment that nurtures growth. Since the school operates under a charitable trust, donor funding plays a key role in realizing the project. As a result, the design needed to be flexible to allow for incremental, phased construction, contingent on the funding.

Waghoba ecolodge is a resort contiguous to the forest buffer of Tadoba wildlife sanctuary in the state of Maharashtra India. The target clientele for the property is wildlife enthusiasts and conservationists. The brief required a 16-cottage resort with responsible tourism at its core. The developers sought to restore the previously cultivated land to its original state of being a deciduous forest as part of their ecological intentions. This required interventions in the landscape to enhance biodiversity. By observing the land around and through a biodiversity survey local flora and fauna were identified.

Vaishnavi and Raja established “My first school” with a zeal to improve the quality of education in their hometown of Tiruvanamalai. The school progressed rapidly and needed a larger campus setup-a place which reflected the philosophy espoused. The site chosen is in the outskirts of the city and is surrounded by rice fields and coconut grove. The famous Arunachala Hill of the town Tiruvannamalai is visible from the land.

Eklavya is a non-profit, non-government organisation working toward revolutionizing education system in Madhya Pradesh and other states. Environment was core to their design brief when they started looking for an architect. The proposed campus was to house office space, workshop area, residential space and a storage unit for their publications and paper. The campus was to have an inductive environment for collaborative works between different departments. Strategies of closing the loops of energy, water, material and food were pivotal in the design. Building was to demonstrate a unique approach to the built environment.

Action for Social Advancement (ASA) is a nonprofit development organization whose mission is of ensuring livelihoods through development services with emphasis on natural resource development. Water is one of the key sectors ASA has been involved in, in villages of Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Bihar and Jharkhand. In its head Office in Bhopal, ASA was keen to showcase its ethos of ecological principles. The client brief required that the space be inclusive and foster collaborative working culture. Site is in a development which was formerly an agricultural land.

The office for Biome is built over an older building. The owners had found the use of the upper floor to be redundant for them and were seeking to rent it out. An additional floor was added for this purpose. The project presented an opportunity to apply and test some new ideas in space, technique and material.

The school sits in a neighbourhood with constant construction activity and a godown is in its immediate vicinity. Creating a learning space for a young age group on such a site required that the school be an enclosed and protective space. The site factor played a key role in the design, along with the Reggio-Emilia education approach itself, on which the school is based.

The home is located in the outskirt of Bangalore at the edge of the garden around the park adjoining a lake. Since the plot is a corner one the home is designed so that it can be viewed from both the sides. As one walks around the building it reveals its characters, punctured wall with windows of various size and hues, telescopic vaults and sloping roofs at jaunty angles.

Hornbill house, is located at O'land estate, a tea and coffee plantation. The estate is an “end of the road property”, bordering forest lands and commanding spectacular views. The estate had an existing bungalow which needed renovation and the brief called for an additional 8 bungalows to be built on this 135 acre estate which would then be rented out as farm stays. Out of these nine buildings, three have been realized.
