House H, located in Oberbozen, is an intimate refuge, a place to live surrounded by landscape. Placed close to the angle of the existing holzner park hotel building, it represents the final point of the compound. The concept is that of introducing connection elements to allow the dialogue between existing and new. Starting from a linear volume, working by subtracting: by alternating intimate balconies with dug loggias, the attention moves away from the historic Renon train tracks.

The project is located in the Isarco river valley, near the 12th-century novacella abbey. Here the monks started producing wine from the nearby fields, and many farms followed their example and opened their own wine business. Pacherhof was not just the first, but some documents show that their wine cellar was working even before the construction of the monastery. This is why pacherhof is now considered as an asset of high architectural and cultural value.

Because of the displacement different free areas come into existence and because of specific and precisely chosen openings within the 3 structures the interlocking is possible to be experienced in the interior.
