This house was meant to be a refuge, a place to return to, a space for preserving mementos and memories from distant journeys. It was with this request that the travelers approached architect Wojciech Kotecki, co-founder of BBGK Architekci, and architect Katarzyna Mach. The result was the Sadowski House, "a home of one's own": deeply personal, slightly introverted, yet open to its surroundings. A single-storey dwelling organized entirely on the ground level, nestled among pine trees. Hidden beneath a wide-spanning roof of tent-like geometry. Designed so that its inhabitants would always remain together.

In recent years, the area of the 19th-century Warsaw Citadel in Warsaw, Poland, has been undergoing a transformation into a museum complex and memorial site that is unique on a European scale. The historic area, which remained closed to the city for years, is now becoming a representative space commemorating the history of Poland. This is one of the largest public developments among the numerous cultural investments following Poland's accession to the European Union in 2004.

The building at Sprzeczna 4 street aspires to continue the restoration of the beautiful Praga district and to become a recognisable element not only in the immediate vicinity, but also on a larger scale. The building is supposed to be a starting point for the restoration of the whole urban block. And it can be claimed that the key to restore an urban block is the frontage.
