This project, encompassing four residential buildings with 672 social housing units, is a significant step in preserving the architectural heritage of the Luchtbal neighborhood. Originally designed by renowned architect Hugo Van Kuyck, the buildings have been carefully restored, respecting the original design while integrating modern standards of comfort and sustainability. The first building (block A) of the extensive renovation of the Langblokken complex was completed in September 2024.

Lindemans Brewery / A2D architects

This project is the first phase of a new satellite brewery for Brouwerij Lindemans, including the associated road, landscaping, and sewerage works. The site is in the northeast of the Sint-Pieters-Leeuw municipality, in the industrial district of Ruisbroek. The design consists of two primary structures: a production hall and a publicly accessible office building. The office building features a large brewing and event hall, complemented by supporting facilities such as kitchens, storage areas, shops, offices and conference rooms, as well as a spacious, partially covered terrace designed for social events. In a future phase there are plans to expand the storage and production hall at the back of the site.

Three intertwined volumes of flats and individual homes for rent were created a stone's throw away from the city center of Waasmunster, Belgium. The buildings are all centered around a collective green courtyard. Paths, footbridges, and external staircases connect the housing units, animate the new outdoor space, and promote social cohesion through interaction.
