The "Les Hauts de Sévigné" development project, led by the Launay Group, is located between the Rennes-Paris railroad line, the Route de Paris, and the Rigourdière business park. This sector at the entrance to the city is today mainly composed of activities. Eventually, it will be home to approximately 650 housing units and 12,000 m2 of business floor space.

On each project, we work specifically on the context. We are particularly interested in the close, distant, historical and sociological environment of the project. These data "feed" the design and come together to form an architecture. As the contexts in which we evolve are rarely homogeneous, our writing tends to be hybrid. The ZAC Erdre-Porterie is located near the limit of Nantes, close to singular natural landscapes. Important wooded areas are present: conserving the site's qualities is one of the challenges of this operation. Block BN4 is located between a wooded pedestrian path to the north and the courtyard of the new college to the south, which has preserved many trees.

On the border between Saint-Servan and the Bouvet basin of the port of Saint-Malo, the project should connect two environments : one urban, the other port. This small, sober and discreet architecture is an important part of the port identity of this changing district. Inspired by the image of the docks of yesteryear, it frees itself from them to play with skewed lines and offer chiseled volumes, precious and contemporary prisms.

Beauregard (beautiful outlook) takes its name from the vantage point on which it is located and which offers distant views between the valleys of the Ille and Vilaine rivers. To fully appreciate this, one need only climb to the top of the residential building located at the Southern tip of the triangle of the new Cours des Arts designed by the architect from Rennes, a/LTA. At such heights conducive to travel, the great landscape can be taken in from the back of this urban cockpit.

Transparencies and porosities on the city block (layout, crossing hall) offer views of the landscape.
The cutting of the constructions converses with the distant foliage.

The project consists of three housing building on a foundation of business premises. It is articulated by a landscaped garden with vegetal and mineral nuances. We believe that “beautiful” housing accommodations are bright, well-oriented and offer wide views. This is what we have planned for the three buildings with views to Nantes city or to the river. We used the same codes and registers with small changes for each project.

The installation site and more widely the Promenade de Warenne in the district of Manchester (urban refurbishment) in Charleville-Mézières, has exceptional qualities and very good views on very far landscape. The presence of luxuriant vegetation , the soft topography from North to South are typical of a site with particular specificities that it is better to respect, to emphasize through the architecture, the volumetry. Instinctively, we thought of centering views, of offering favorable orientations. From the outside, houses in strips are playing with the transparency, the porosities on the landscape. The vegetalized roofs are deleting the limit between constructed masses and distant surroundings.
