Being a devout spiritualist and residing in a village with a rich cultural heritage, he wanted the symbolisation of the local context and the richness of the temple architecture to reflect in the very own space that can be defi ned as his home.

The project strives to have a complete public character to the office and to have maximum privacy for the residential spaces, as well as to have a connection for both the functions, which would symbolize the work-life balance of a person.

Adeeb Residence at a mountainous midland town of Kondotty, in Malappuram, Kerala, is a home for three people. The site resides next to the client's ancestral home, which also adds an emotional empathy to the site context. The site has a rural setting covered with native Coconut groves. Different varieties of native plants from the species add beauty to the site setting, giving a tropical essence.

House XO: Where Industrial Elegance Meets Modern Minimalism - Designed with a focus on contemporary urban living, XO exudes a unique charm, showcasing modern architecture that masterfully blends clean lines, minimalist furniture, and industrial elements to create spaces with exposed steel beams and large glass windows, blending seamlessly with its tropical surroundings. Its facade features concrete and metal, highlighted by a unique circular design. Surrounded by mature trees and lush greenery, the house offers a serene and private setting. The outdoor area includes a paved patio and a well-kept lawn, combining natural beauty with industrial design elements.

Openness in constraints: House in the backyard. ‘House in the backyard’- The name comes from its disposition with the client’s own homestead next to the site. The client approached us with the requirement of a 4-bedroom house and conducive amenities on a wedge-shaped site that tapered towards one side. The main challenge here was to design the spaces in such a way that they didn’t feel restricted by space while at the same time ensuring privacy for both families in the residence and in the homestead.

The House was designed in an elevated barren plot with superb undisturbed views from the site. Three things were decided in the initial visit itself; utilize the stupendous views, built a properly shaded house from the heat of the sun, and cover the house with layers of vegetation that will in turn bring down the temperature inside the house.

‘Live in the lap of nature’. Every human mind wishes for it. We, architects at 3dor concepts were shown a site literally in nature's lap, in the foothills of lush western ghats in north Kerala. The site was also close to the popular hill station Wayanad. The young client Binil Thomas wanted a single-storeyed four-bed house. He is a management professional working mostly in big Indian cities and demands a peaceful space in the same piece of land where he spent his childhood living with his parents and siblings. His father was a successful farmer and they had already planted different kinds of plants already on-site.

The house of Noushad is in Tirur, Malappuram, Kerala, India. The house is designed for Mr. Noushad and his family of two. The client approached us with a stunning riverfront plot and we knew at once the most challenging thing about this project would be designing a house that enhances the site's beauty. The client's requirements were solid, a four-bedroom house with the entire house having an uninterrupted view of the river yet maintaining a sense of privacy from neighboring plots.
