The Plant Futures Facility supports research into sustainable food, fibre, and fuel production in response to climate change and population growth. Defined as a "walled garden," the building's concept reflects its typology and context—crafted from brick in a pixilated pattern referencing Queensland's geological cross-section. From a distance, it reads as a stone wall; up close, it reveals a finely articulated façade. Internally, light and colour, combined with mirrored paneling, reflect the environmental controls of grow rooms, subtly distorting. perception and experience. The facility is both a high-performance research tool and a contextual, culturally resonant architectural statement.

E-Isolation, located in the city of Miki in Hyogo Prefecture, Japan, is the first public testing and research facility in the country that is equipped with a full-scale seismic isolation testing system capable of using a measurement method that is the first of its kind worldwide. The facility has been built to enhance earthquake-preparedness measures and develop practical seismic isolation systems in Japan, one of the world's most earthquake-prone countries. With its capability to evaluate the performance of seismic isolation devices, E-Isolation provides an open space where structural researchers, designers, general contractors, manufacturers, building owners, and others can get together. This project has been implemented as a collaboration among industry, academia, and government in order to strengthen Japan's resilience to earthquakes.

University Research Park in Madison, WI, introduces a new model of research park typology. This site challenges the tradition of research park planning by integrating natural habitats amongst mixed-use buildings to create a vibrant community that is walkable and prioritizes the wellbeing of wildlife. The Perkins&Will-designed Element Labs, the new gateway to the campus, sitting prominently at the Northeast corner of the park, will house multiple research companies, including Invenra, a Madison-based lifesciences company. The building is the centerpiece of the emerging Element Collective district, which will contain apartments, a hotel, a fitness center, and restaurants.

ReSidence presents a forward-looking approach to multi-storey construction by uniting natural materials with low-impact digital fabrication techniques. The combination of willow, earth, flax, and wood demonstrates how challenges inherent to natural materials can be transformed into opportunities, empowering architects to actively shape and design change. Inspired by traditional half-timbered construction techniques, where willow and earth serve as non-structural infill, this project synergistically combines these materials into low-emission, structurally effective building elements.

In Paris (14th arrondissement), for the GHU Paris Centre Hospitalier Sainte-Anne (the project owner), Pargade Architects completed the new Neuroscience Center in 2024. This project bridges the legacy of architect Charles Auguste Questel (1807–1888) with a facility decidedly open to the city. Since its founding, Sainte-Anne Hospital has been a laboratory for mental health and also serves as a laboratory for architecture and urban planning. Within this demanding heritage context, the Neuroscience project, designed by Pargade Architectes, envisions the hospital of tomorrow through its architectural approach.

Building-City - In designing the Kia Laboratory Project, it has been tried to create an interaction between the building and the city by adding a new application to the building, which has the role of an urban hangout and to make the border between the city and the building invisible. In this way, the user is faced with a structure that is both a building and a city, and the border between the two is not easily recognizable. The idea of building-city was formed after conducting different field studies and interviews with the residents of Qarah Ziya od Din (the location of the project). The city’s inhabitants considered the existence of security and the absence of coexistence spaces as two characteristics of the location.

The Ecotron IleDeFrance technical platform offers innovative equipment called “Ecolabs” to the research community, designed to handle ecological systems under confinement conditions and environmental control. The Écotron Île-de-France platform commissioned for CNRS and ENS research occupies a site dominated by wild natural surroundings that needed to be domesticated. The project’s architectural treatment showcases the wooden structural statement. Vertical elements impart rhythm to the frontage by alternating opaque and glazed areas.

The Gamelle is a small laboratory for product inspection in a factory in central Vietnam. Located by the sea at the edge of the site, the building aims to provide views of nature while protecting it from excessive exposure to the sea breeze. An outer wall encloses both functional rooms and exterior spaces, constituting a porous structure to mediate between the internal and external environment. The project has the ambiguity of the entity: eye-catching like a solid pavilion, and yet eye-penetrating to the scenery beyond with its transparency.
