In September 2020, we first visited the headquarters of Lione Group in Erlang Town. Just after exiting the highway, we were struck by the majestic scenery of the entire Chishui River Valley, its dark hues, and the dramatic changes in terrain. As we crossed the Chishui River, the humid air, laden with the strong aroma of liquor, enveloped us. The combination of humidity and scent seemed to directly connect our bodies to the local terroir. Erlang Town is built along the river, with people making the most of the limited land. Over the years, the entire valley has gradually transformed into a landscape where production and labor are seamlessly integrated.

Aimer Suzhou headquarters embraces this shift, offering an environment that fosters deep brand interaction and connects with people on a human level. "In designing Aimer Suzhou headquarters, we sought to create a building that reflects both the brand's identity and the evolving nature of commercial spaces. Flowing forms, layered transparency, and multifunctional spaces turn architecture into an extension of the brand itself," says Binke Lenhardt, co-founder of Crossboundaries.

This project holds unique value for our office, as it presents fundamental ideas that are highly relevant to our practice as architects at LSD. This project is the result of an exhaustive site analysis. we have explored innovative and unconventional concepts and we have decided to experiment with ideas that, normally, a client would not allow us to implement. Metaphorical speaking our building is like a wave, like the tube of a wave, ever-changing in to different shapes, reshaping, regenerating, connected to the earth and energy-based to archive the healthy way.

Mirador: A space for work, contemplation, and gathering. From the terraces of the Retiro neighborhood in Buenos Aires, the city offers a different reading. New perspectives emerge of its parks, historic buildings, and domes floating above the fast-paced rhythm of downtown Buenos Aires. Within this interplay of contrasts, the Mirador project arises as both an exercise in observation and a space for gathering and belonging.

After a tireless search, we found a 1980s house that had already served various commercial purposes, including retail. Despite its residual compartmentalization, the house showed potential.

Set amidst dense and mature vegetation, this corporate project prioritizes integration with nature and the use of light materials, proposing an architecture that is both functional and welcoming. The building, with its white structure and exposed sloped roof, houses a series of interconnected spaces linked by both external and internal paths that blur the boundaries between indoors and outdoors. The translucent polycarbonate panel envelope ensures privacy while allowing abundant natural light to enter, creating soft and pleasant interiors.
