Especially the increasing use of 3D renderings and virtual reality for architectural projects is hitting every architect’s newsfeed. Photorealistic images and virtual reality walk-throughs seem to be turning into the new industry standard. That being said, for many architectural firms it seems to be hard to keep up with quickly developing new tech and thereby find ways to differentiate themselves from the competition.

Olinka. The Ideal City of Dr. Atl. Presented by Cuauhtémoc Medina

The book features reproductions of documents, photographs, and plans, many of which are previously unpublished, illustrating the history of this project.

Parqueando 2019 "12m² for my planet"

In cities, most open space is dedicated to vehicle traffic and parking, while only a small percentage is allocated to people and their daily activities. For this reason, the Parque(ando) proposal involves temporarily occupying parking spaces to expand their potential for collective use, thereby promoting socialization, cultural expression and diversity, play, community, the appropriation of our spaces, and generosity.

Built By Women Los Angeles 2020

Starting with the landmark exhibition in 2014, Built by Women has offered the opportunity to demonstrate the breadth of achievement in the building industry by women at the highest levels.

Women are underrepresented in the building professions: architecture (15–18%), engineering (4.5–13.7%), and construction (2.6%). Built by Women’s goal is to change this. Increasing the number of women in science, technology, engineering, architecture and mathematics is critical to our country’s ability to compete globally.

The name refers to the square's French-inspired urban design and seeks to erase the memory of what can be considered one of the city's first LGBT+ territories. The project by the Franco-Brazilian firm Triptyque reinforces this narrative by failing to engage in a broad dialogue with the local community.
