It will feature a series of lectures by distinguished architects and engaging architecture and design workshops focused on bio-design, AI, VR, and AR, led by faculty from the AA School, UCL Bartlett, ETH Zurich, ICD Stuttgart, Harvard GSD, UMichigan, UPenn, UCLA, SCI-Arc, Clemson, FIU, FAU, SUTD, RMIT, Angewandte, IAAC, CITA, Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, NYU Shanghai, Tongji University, Southeast University, Code-It, Archi-Union, and Zaha Hadid Architects, among others.

Lecture: ERRE Arquitectura

As part of the commemorative events for World Architecture Day 2020, the Valencia-based firm ERRE arquitectura will host a conference on Thursday, October 22, at 7:00 PM. The firm will present their most significant built works, such as L'Alqueria del Basket and Marina de Empresas in Valencia, as well as ongoing projects like the Valencia Arena multipurpose venue, which has recently broken ground.

Light in Motion: Mapping Workshop

"Luz en movimiento" is a workshop designed to expand the artistic and professional horizons of visual artists, designers, advertisers, and musicians through the creation of audiovisual content using Modul8. The workshop also includes an introduction to Madmapper software.

This Monday, May 25, marks the beginning of the 7th Arica Barroca South Andean Art Festival, an initiative established in 2014 to highlight the cultural identity and diversity of Arica, Parinacota, and the South American Andes.
For 2020, Arica Barroca introduces the theme “Sayarikuna”—Quechua for “We will rise”—to spark inquiry into exemplary manifestations across the American continent. It invites us to reflect on a return to our origins, the principles of “good living” (*buen vivir*) within the Andean worldview, and the practice of collectivity, reciprocity, and access to information, learning, and *Ayni*.

Rethink the City, a free online course on urban challenges in the Global South offered by TU Delft

“Rethink the City: New Approaches to Global and Local Urban Challenges” is a free online course offered by the Faculty of Architecture at TU Delft (Netherlands). Following two sessions with over 17,000 students, a third iteration will begin on February 19, 2020. The course received the 2017 Excellence in Teaching Award from the Association of European Schools of Planning (AESOP).
