The interior of Auga, an optical salon with specialist consulting rooms, was inspired by the process of seeing – a complex and precise biological mechanism. The shape of the space echoes the natural form of the eye, and elements within the interior reflect its internal anatomy. The color palette, shapes, and materials draw from the physiology of vision, creating a coherent visual narrative.

The inspiration for the new Ragu was Italian hospitality, the neighborhood rhythm of the day, and pasta – understood both symbolically and literally. Our aim was to capture the atmosphere of a small Italian trattoria: homely, relaxed, and conducive to gatherings. Guests were meant to have the opportunity both to celebrate meals together and to spend time in smaller groups.

Need HelpThe main objective of the project was to create the first high-end co-working space in Wrocław that combines functionality, elegance, and an artistic ambiance. The inspiration for the project came from the building itself, the former Faculty of Pharmacy of the Medical University, where the office is located. We drew inspiration from pharmaceutical glass as a material that reflects the history of the place, as well as wavy forms inspired by the nearby Odra River.

The main concepts of the project were based on combining the florist concept of Rośliny and the café Helen Cafe, creating a multifunctional space. The materials used were inspired by the old, green district of Borek in Wrocław and the architectural history of the area. The chosen colors and materials reflect the surroundings – earthy tones, concrete, dark brick tiles referencing pre-war brickwork, and white symbolizing post-war modernism.

ProtoLAB is a design and build workshop where students of architecture and related fields have a unique opportunity to design and then build architectural structures. The workshop is divided into an online design and onsite manufacturing process, which will take place in the beautiful city of Wrocław, Poland.

The online design workshop will take place between July 7 and 14, 2023. Participants will work in international groups on one of the given design tasks.

Concordia Design is a mixed-use building containing co-working spaces, an event venue, a food hall, a café, and a rooftop terrace on Słodowa Island in Wrocław, Poland. The project is a renovation and extension of a 19th-century listed building, retaining the façade of the existing building and adding a contemporary extension to create a focal point for the neighbouring park and a destination that will enhance the experience of the island for visitors.

Nanan means sweetmeats in French and sweets play the leading role in this signature design of a modern patisserie. The deliberately minimalist interior provides a subtle setting for the protagonists: finely decorated sophisticated cakes and éclairs made with meticulous care. The specialty of this patisserie, the éclair, has inspired the interior design and the visual identity of Nanan. The éclair’s oval silhouette is echoed in the central island counter with a display that operates almost like a glass cabinet in a jeweler’s shop.

The house is situated within a residential borough among pre-WWII family residences and fully utilises the numerous benefits of its location. It provides its occupants with a sufficient amount of privacy in spite of a relatively compact plot and close proximity to the neighbouring buildings. The use of large glazings enabled a visual integration of the living space with a surrounding garden. A meticulously carved form of the building is shifted deep into the plot. This decision results in an impressive window view which frames greenery and sky while isolating the sight of next-door houses.

This project holds a new place on the cultural map of Wroclaw, hosted by the organization called Wroclaw Culture Zone. These premises is located in one of the most interesting Wroclaw courtyards. The yard is mainly known for the exhibition of iconic Wroclaw neon signs, but also for many artistic events and parties. The new interior called “Recepcja” (eng. Reception) has been designed by the Wrocław’s architectural group “Znamy się”.
