The VA House is an A-Frame house. The house combines alpine architecture with modernity. The silver fir is the regional idea and the concrete is the modern interpretation of the rocks and stones surrounding.

Positioned on a steep hillside along the northeast edge of the settlement, the House of Chambers lays the Rhine Valley directly at your feet. Surprisingly compact, even monolithic, the spatial sculpture digs its way into the slope: a cube and a courtyard in the middle of a wide alpine meadow.

The Summer’s family home is located on the edge of a forest on a small plateau above Weiler, outside the village centre at the end of a steep path. Only a handful of farmers settled in the area over the centuries. Following tradition and their common sense, they all used timber to build their farmhouses. The Summer’s new house replaces an old building. The former farm – and farming as such – were abandoned half a century ago.
