Dedicated to teaching the construction trades, the Grand Paris Eco Campus contributes to the modification of the Domaine Cherioux in Vitry-sur-Seine, a metropolitan area of Paris. The shape of the plot is a tapered triangle of 150m by 50m. To the two North/South crossings separating the three blocks is added an East/West crossing, bisecting the composition. The six buildings, individualized by the masterplan, form a small neighborhood in which the central street becomes the major interest of users.

This is a room for a continuous video projection, for the documentation of a monumental but fragile installation made by Christian Boltanski in the Atacama Desert. With two concentric cylinders and two tunnel-like extensions, this sculptural piece is meant to erode its own figure in order to re-enact an inner landscape. It is a dimly lit, opaque and seamless chamber, rough enough so as to evoke the original distant place where the installation was recorded.

The project is located in the Balzac district, at the southern end of Vitry-sur-Seine, near the A86 motorway. To the west lies a hill, while the town centre is located to the north and the rivers Seine and Marne to the east.

This operation of rental housing is part of the overall urban renewal of the concerted area Concorde Stalingrad in Vitry sur Seine, in the near suburbs of Paris. Between the RN 305 and hillsides, the lot Champs Fleuris acts as a link between urban dimensions. The 48 units are divided into two distinct entities: 24 units in an R+7 apartment building, which provides a front built on the boulevard Stalingrad, in the north east of the site, the other 24 homes develop into heart shapes in fragmented plots from ground floor to R+3.
