The site is marked by the presence of the campus facing the town through the intermediary of the new library. Located at the edge of the campus, the new building curls around the old library to create a dynamic that heralds the development and renewal of the library and a harbinger of the future evolution of the campus. Constraints of the exiting urban plan led to a highly singular S-shaped construction footprint. The extension enclosed the initial volume of the library and defines the limits of the new public square.

The long-awaited Villetaneuse Université interchange is now taking shape. Although this is a good thing in terms of urban development, it also exacerbates the division between north and south due to the ensuing concentration of networks and traffic lanes.

This project is the first element of the urban visual identity of the campus’s east side. It's mixed use by students and city’s sports associations symbolizes new relationship between Villetaneuse and Paris XIII college. The base of the project was an existing and aging sports hall. The program required a refurbishment and an extension of this building. We added a new and bigger hall, a martial sports dojo, a climbing wall tower and a new multipurpose hall.
