Guitou Town Wetland Park is located in Guitou Town, Ruyuan Yao Autonomous County, Shaoguan City, Guangdong Province, and represents a significant endeavor by YXDesigners in the region. During the urban design collaboration with Vanke Urban Research Institute, we identified a natural wetland along the Wujiang River in Guitou Town. This wetland is frequently submerged during flood seasons, with severe soil erosion making it unsuitable for agricultural development, thus remaining an overlooked "wilderness." However, this very "untamed" quality has preserved its pristine ecological attributes—dense native vegetation, rich biodiversity, and unparalleled vistas of mountainous and aquatic landscapes.

The Yangbei Village CCP Elderly Day-Care Center is located in the Ruyuan Yao Autonomous County of Shaoguan City, northern Guangdong. Nestled among mountains and abundant waterways, Ruyuan Yao Autonomous County is home to the Yao and Hakka people, known for their rich historic and cultural heritage and mountain settlements. With rural revitalization efforts, many Yao residents have moved to new public housing on the plains, though some elderly remain in traditional mountain villages, maintaining buildings with rammed-earth and timber structures. The Hakka population, primarily engaged in agriculture in the plains, contributes to the area's diverse cultural landscape.

Yao-Hakka Yard, located in Ruyuan Yao Autonomous County, Shaoguan City, Guangdong Province, is neighboring the Yao migration Town and Hakka village, so it is titled "Yao-Hakka" to express the best wishes for the harmony of the two peoples. Yao-Hakka Yard can be regarded as a deconstructed architectural museum—an assemblage of fragmented constructs sourced from local villages, encompassing elements of both traditional and contemporary designs.

Longgui town is located in Shaoguan City, Guangdong Province. There are many grain processing plants in the town. Longgui grain office is one of them. After 1949, the grain Institute gradually went through the implementation of the public-private joint venture system. It was transformed into a school where cadres went to the mountains and the countryside to receive re-education. Finally, it was rented out to the private for grain processing. With the change of the times, Longgui grain depot has been abandoned gradually, but the basic pattern of the park still remains.
