Rosan Bosch Studio has designed a new nature-based campus and learning environment for The
Garzón School in Uruguay. The school is nestled within a dense eucalyptus forest, fostering a unique connection with nature. The vast and untamed environment of the new Garzón School in Uruguay is intertwined with the school's identity. In close collaboration with the school community, Rosan Bosch Studio has developed a design concept where learning seamlessly happens indoor and outdoor. The new learning landscape nurtures innate curiosity and encourages exploration, play, and self-expression.

A house, a way of inhabiting the horizon. The project is located in a semi-rural environment only 5 km from the sea, in Manantiales, Uruguay, with great population growth in recent years. The challenge consisted of projecting and building a single-family home at a distance, modular, with a mixed construction system.

Nautilus House / Martin Gomez Arquitectos

Like a trident deployed from the sea, Nautilus is located in one of Manantiales closest blocks to the beach. A ramp facing the street leads to the entrance of rectangular lines, where the use of wood in exterior cladding, concrete and aluminum stands out. The facade is reminiscent of a ship's deck, a sensation that increases thanks to the use of portholes throughout the house and the spiral staircase to the solarium.
