House C transforms a minimal 32 m² apartment into a continuous, luminous interior landscape deeply connected to the sea. What was once a fragmented and irregular dwelling is reinterpreted as a single, legible space, freed from unnecessary partitions in order to allow a clear and uninterrupted reading of the whole. Only the bathroom remains enclosed, conceived as an autonomous cabin that preserves intimacy while reinforcing the perception of the apartment as a single room.

Arenales is a central neighborhood in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria characterized by old terraced houses. After degradation, the neighborhood is clearly marked decades by being the epicenter of prostitution and drug trafficking in the city. However, it is undergoing a progressive transformation, driven by the purchase of homes by private developers. This presents an opportunity to restore the area's distinctive character.

Naked House is located in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, in the historic working-class neighborhood of Guanarteme, which in recent years has become the victim of the unbridled urban growth of the city. This expansion has abruptly transformed the surrounding urban fabric, in which large-scale buildings coexist with humble self-built homes. The project, which is an intervention of one of these old houses, was born as an opportunity to claim another way of living, as an exercise of recovery and enhancing that which already exists and understanding the historical and cultural context in which the original architecture took place as its main asset.

At the Lasso Community Center, a neglected neighborhood of Las Palmas, the existing street and valley topography define a form and space, the project just limits itself to draw limits, to construct the encounter between a garden and a viewpoint towards the sea.

The Castillo de la Luz is for the city of Las Palmas not only one of the most significant buildings of its architectural heritage, but a witness to the historical memory of the archipelago. Its location on the Isleta, the point of arrival of the Castilian fleets since the fifteenth century when the first fortification was founded, was the reason for its existence and its defensive role until the nineteenth century. The passage of time has not only significantly affected its use and conservation, but also its immediate environment: the ancient fortress on the coast that was surrounded by water at high tide, is today surrounded by the buildings of Puerto de la Luz and the advancement of the city to the Isleta.
