The Lampa Community Center project is part of the National Program for the Recovery of Neighborhoods "I Want My Neighborhood" of the Ministry of Housing and Urbanism, born in 2006, which seeks to promote physical and social initiatives in vulnerable sectors, which are developed through an active process of citizen participation, in which the community defines its wishes regarding the infrastructure of the neighborhood to which it belongs, which become the foundations and guidelines of the project. Our studio intervenes in this process at the design and development stage of the detailed engineering of the project proposed by the community.

Stand-alone house located in the rural commune of Lampa, located on the northwest side of Santiago, Chile. It's hermetic and open at the same time. The first floor closed around its perimeter and contains two courtyards at the longitudinal ends of the house. Between them is a common space for the kitchen, dining and living rooms, this configuring a linear and successive space between three continuous situations that are always connected with both courtyards, creating an interior composed of an interior, intermediate and exterior spaces.

We were assigned the subdivision of a portion of land of 5 hectares, in the district of Lampa, located in central Chile. The land was divided into 10 plots of 5.000 m2, two of which would be occupied by a multifunctional space. This space should serve as a meeting place and recreation for the future inhabitants of the rest of the plots.
