Vynvytis Studio is an unusual space located in the former cultural center of a paper factory in the industrial district of Kaunas, Petrašiūnai. This project is designed for various activities – meetings, celebrations, creative workshops, and other events that require a flexible and adaptable environment. The two-story structure allows the spaces to be used together or separately, depending on the nature of the event or the needs. Functionality and flexibility were the key design principles, which are also reflected in the concept of the inner courtyard. The courtyard was created as a natural extension of the interior spaces, integrating the building's history into a radically different, modern use.

The Bridge–Plaza is a newly completed pedestrian and cyclist bridge that links Kaunas' old city center with the iconic Nemunas Island Park. The project is part of the wider master plan that stretches until the industrial areas on the left bank in Aleksotas, and the lower Freda districts, including the future larger pedestrian bridge, National Science and Innovation Centre, and M.K Ciurlionis Concert Hall. Already completed Bridge-Plaza and the upcoming future bridge with integrated riverfront public spaces will act as an ensemble to link important developments of Kaunas city center as the historical part, Nemunas Island, and the new town.

The urban structure of the campus was largely formed in the 1930-1937 period and is enlisted as a whole in the cultural heritage register. It contains 8 modernist heritage buildings erected up to 1939 with several later additions of soviet era architecture. The new building is situated on the eastern part of the site, as recommended in an analysis of the campus conducted by heritage specialists in 2011. The building dedicated to education and scientific research is a single volume of 49m by 44m, 11.88m in height, containing 3 floors above ground and 1 underground.

The plot is located on the slope of the Nemunas Valley river. Historically, it once happened that the Nemunas River was dammed, so the valley below remained, and the Kaunas Lagoon was formed nearby. The place is interesting cause on the other side, on the opposite bank of the valley there is a baroque complex of Pažaislis Monastery, which cannot be seen directly through the overgrown trees during the summer, but when the leaves fall, it is that tete-a-tete glimpse. Sometimes the places have a historical context, sometimes a natural one, and here, in addition to everything else, the place also have a very interesting certain moral, not real context, because it is only from stories, it is supposed, we can only say that there is a connection between this place and Pažaislis Monastery.

Kindergarten "Vaikystes Sodas" is a part of the transformation of a complex revived abandoned barracks town into a multifunctional residential quarter, which consists of 7 residential buildings, 2 commercial buildings, a school, and a kindergarten. In the contemporary architecture competition „Zvilgsnis I save“ it was chosen as the best architectural object in Lithuania, created in 2018, and in the competition organized by the Lithuanian Real Estate Development Association in 2021, this barracks complex was selected as the best real estate project. The team of architects gradually turned the military fortress into a residential quarter, enabling historic buildings to vibrate in a modern way, telling the story of the past and creating a new one for future generations.

The team of architects was entrusted with the implementation of the conversion of the territory of the immovable cultural values - the historical barracks in the Žemieji Šančiai district, to develop a creative placemaking, bringing vibrancy to an old military district. Monumental expression, a two-story building with a basement is located in the picturesque central part of Kaunas, in the old interwar villa district. The composition of the new house keeps the spirit of Kaunas modernism alive as the circular windows designed in the concrete planes give the building the impression of modernism. The two-volume reinforced concrete residential house is embedded in a rather expressive descending relief, due to which the building itself only further highlights the slope of the plot.

To celebrate this significant event to the whole Lithuanian architecture community, Kaunas University of Technology together with Studio Fuksas are organising a remote open lecture of Massimiliano Fuksas, entitled “Architecture and Innovation”. The lecture will be held on February 10 (17:00 LT, UTC+2; 16:00 IT, UTC+1) and will be followed by a panel discussion of Mr Fuksas and colleagues from the KTU Faculty of Civil Engineering and Architecture.
