White Trio House Office and Store / White on White Studio

White Trio is a small-scale project in one of the main streets of the city of Kashan that was the short-term residence of Sohrab Sepehri (a famous poet in Iran). But this building not only did not have poetic elements but also, over time, has been added to with three different uses only for profitability without considering the project area limitation. So, the project objectives are not only to create a distinct architecture but also to attain a solution for the independence of uses, especially in access to the building. Another limitation was to maintain the western side Within the current situation with the minimum of change. Because demolition of that side could trigger the building setback according to the street widening ordinance.

Mint House / White on White Studio

The mint house project was a renovation of a typical house - without historical architectural value - for an average family in Kashan, with a very limited budget. The main client’s request for this renovation was moving the bathroom from the yard to the interior space, adding a bedroom if possible and complete removal of the elements of the old building, that had tired them over time.

The design process started with the diagram and it was based on the staining of the requested spaces based on appropriate spatial relationships with emphasis on the architectural identity of the site bed and the climate of the region. There was an empty space in the center of the site to divide the space based on residential-private space from other general-use spaces; in addition, the making of an empty space had other achievements such as providing light to the north of the project and creating a private yard for the residential area.
