For the renovation of this 200m² commercial office, located in the Capitania Building (designed by Pedro Paulo de Melo Saraiva, Sérgio Ficher, and Henrique Cambiagui Filho in the 1970s), we proposed that the brand's identity colors – blue, yellow, and purple – should be fundamental to the design concept. Used as organizing elements for the spaces, they became an integral part of the architectural atmosphere. The sensory continuity provided by the proposed materials and color palette was a decisive factor in establishing relationships between all the rooms and pathways within the office.

Our initial dialogue with the clients, a young couple, was to help them decide on the purchase of the house. We evaluated the local zoning regulations and, from there, began to map out the project strategy together. During our research, we discovered that the house was built in the 1940s and was part of a cluster of five semi-detached units that share the same roof, though each has its own particularities resulting from various renovations and adaptations made over time.

Seven years after the inauguration of its first store, located in JK Iguatemi Mall and with Arthur Casas’ project, the distributor Mistral looked for Studio Arthur Casas team to sign its second address, now in Iguatemi Mall. Like the first, the new space should be inviting, innovative and surprising to provide customers with an enriching and enjoyable shopping experience.
