Nanshan Junning Resort is located in a valley in Central Anhui with a 10-meter elevation difference, featuring a mountain slope, bamboo forest, access road, and seasonal stream. Buildings are arranged along the terrain: linear against the mountain, embracing the bamboo grove, and loosely scattered for public functions near the road. Guided by the concept of "Taming the Water", the mountain stream is slowed and channeled to form terraced cascading water features. A pool-shaped building with a water roof is set at the original pond to create a submerged residence, while a crescent-shaped pool at the stream's source forms a water curtain as the garden's "Water Eye".

The owner's philosophy is to leave the bookstore to its guests as much as possible, providing a warm place for different people at different times. The shop's staff are four adopted stray cats, and the walls are covered with message postcards. The books in the store initially came from the owner's old collection, and as guests increased, new and used books were donated one after another.

After market decline in the 1990s, the mine ceased operations in 2001. The end of its prosperity left behind not only dilapidated factories and the crystallization ponds but also a deteriorating ecological environment. The unique historical value and spatial potential of this once-powerful industrial core nearly faded into oblivion over time.

The university selected a neglected corner at the easternmost edge of the campus for the site. The site is bordered by boundary walls to the east, south, and north, with a commercial building to the south, residential blocks to the north, and an elevated expressway to the east. An underground tunnel underpass connects the East and Central Campuses beneath the site.

In the early 21st century, China witnessed a remarkable surge in museum construction. Cities blossomed under the banner of cultural revival, historical reimagination, and social care, shaping a new international vision for the nation's urban landscape. Over the past two decades—marked by monumental events like the Beijing Olympics, the Shanghai World Expo, the Hangzhou Asian Games, and the global pandemic—Chinese cities have transformed. The towering architecture that once symbolized progress has evolved into a more humanistic, life-centered, artistic, and socially conscious approach to urban regeneration.

Barns and Rural Areas. Since ancient times, people's belief in food has been rooted in the blood memory of agrarian civilization. The granary and the countryside together form the design background of the Hefei 1953 JuXing Grain Post · Shanghai Sanlian Bookstore, completing the transformation of space from storing material food to storing spiritual sustenance. For architects, it is not only another challenge facing new and old propositions but also a reflection and contemplation on the "temporality" and "regionality" in rural construction. The project is located in Mingchuan Township, Feixi County, Hefei City, within the JuXing Grain Post Cultural and Tourism Resort. As the first building at the entrance of the resort, it is modest and unassuming, like the rice sleeping in the granary, quietly continuing the warm daily cultural memory.

Casa de Zanotta is the first Zanotta furniture museum in China that exhibits the famous Italian furniture brand Zanotta. Since it was founded by Aurelio Zanotta in 1954, Zanotta has been pursuing a unique yet luxurious and elegant design tone, and the brand is full of creativity and artistic leadership. Casa de Zanotta is located in the central area of Hefei, Anhui Province. The site is surrounded by residential and office buildings, parking lots, and vast traffic arteries. Looking back over the past 20 years, Hefei has tried to become a metropolitan city like Shanghai or Shenzhen. The high-density concrete city is based on the premise of creating a functionally oriented urban texture, but it gradually runs counter to its unique local topography and environment.

The Botanica Meditation Centre is located on the outskirts of the old city of Hefei. In the past 30 years, with the rapid growth of Hefei's population, the city has transformed from a single central area to a multi-center model in a very short period and has been under unprecedented pressure of intensive development. This kind of development phenomenon not only occurs in Hefei but also in every Chinese metropolitan city, reflecting the need for Chinese people to adapt to and cooperate with the pace of work and life under the rapid development that has occurred in a short period of time.

The beauty centers, barbershops, restaurants, gyms, supermarkets that the most common places we need most but never notice. We often think about how these spaces related to everyone can be designed and reconstructed. If cultural centers, libraries, and theaters are defined as the "spiritual halls" of modern people. Why can't those places that only meet the basic needs of ordinary people become "the churches in the market"? The process by which our body is beautified is also a process of purifying our spirit. Our identity with society will be activated and redefined through the space of the beauty salon, and we will also redefine ourselves.
