The interior design project for the pediatric dentistry clinic of Dr. Isabel Cadroy begins with a new communication strategy to strengthen the positioning of the business. The new premises and the renewal of the brand represent the beginning of a new stage that consolidates its competitive advantage as a clinic dedicated exclusively to pediatric dentistry and orthodontics for children and adolescents. For the doctor, it was important that the clinic be friendly and welcoming, but without falling into a childish aesthetic. And to be able to transform stress and fear, common in visits to the dentist, into confidence and tranquility. Vitale designs a corporate space that connects with all the public of the clinic and recreates a positive, familiar, comfortable and calm environment.

The project takes place in the old town of Castellón where housing typologies on very narrow and longitudinal plots are common. A complete demolition of an old family house was carried out in order to realize the new project. One of the customer's concerns was to achieve good and natural illumination on all of the floors of the house and to also meet the needs of the program. The result is a perforated project that is planned on the ground floor, first floor, second floor and rooftop with a plot size of approximately 3.80 x 24 meters.

Located on the outskirts of the town, at a 15-minute walk from the centre, this building is inserted in a low density residential area. The public nature of the surrounding environment and its lack of determining features of interest suggested a proposal removed from its surrounding reality, a physical and mental space capable of transmitting calm and optimism.

The project arises from the manipulation of a continuous surface which by means of two operations, cutting and folding, resolve the entire programme. In this way it appears as if it were an object which does not emerge from the ground, it poses on it. Without jumps or breaks in its continuity, it wraps playfully round the topography being an external face and internally, a floor, wall, ceiling, framework and roof.
