The design centers on the concept of "mixing patches," creating a dialogue between new and old, using these reclaimed elements as an aesthetic motif to craft a fresh identity for the popular sport.

Narrative. A sports centre for the family focuses on Body Movement awareness and development, through play. The BE1ST an “Atlas of Superpower” is a collection of special qualities we can observe in the world around us. waa was commissioned to design a series of family centre’s focusing on sports activity. We believe to collect superpowers of All age family mermbers development, each BE1ST will represent one of these superpowers. The concept focus’s around a fictitious mythical island which situates specific locations these special super organisms embodying superpowers. In this first edition of the series we selected arid land observing plants with ‘superpowers’ to overcome extreme climates. Cacti can survive in extremely arid environments by storing water in their stems, and their robust root systems and needle-like leaves provide protection. We have simulated three representative cactus plants within the venue: saguaro (Carnegiea), Golden Barrel (Echinocactus) and Prickly pears (Opuntia).

A social club fitting all types of motivation. The first main characteristic of play, that it is free, is in fact, freedom. A second characteristic is that play is not ‘ordinary’ or ‘real’ life. It is rather a stepping out of ‘real’ life into a temporary sphere of activity with a disposition all of its own”. Johan Huizinga, Homo Ludens. Socialization through motor activities is not a new concept. However, in our new pandemic era, there’s an increasing demand for different physical activities as everyone develops their own concept of health and wellness. BeInfinity is a platform that combines professional sports, fitness training, and recreational gatherings. At its Wuhan flagship, Lukstudio experiments with colors and geometry to create a social club fitting all types of motivation.

The purpose of this renovation was to design sustainable and functional infrastructures, with the colors of the two INSEP and Adidas entities, dedicated to INSEP residents and visitors. Locker rooms, house of life for sportsmen, corridors, and meeting space have been redesigned to support high-level athletes in their daily lives. For such, the overall challenge of the intervention was to create an architectural and graphic identity specific to this association, visible through these spaces. Several dynamics have helped to create this consistency: the recurrent use of blue, the common color of the 2 identities Adidas and INSEP, but also of certain materials such as stone or metal.

The Concept - V&V is a neighborhood Gym and Health Bar located in the heart of Beirut. The space occupies the Ground floor and basement area of a longstanding building situated along one of Badaro District’s beautiful calm residential streets.
The approach was to create a space for people to hangout, workout and be part of a healthy neighborhood lifestyle. Hence, the idea of bringing the outside in, spatially and visually; all the way from the terrace to the ground floor interior and down to the basement.

The former laboratory building situated at Eternitten is a fantastic setting for GAME Streetmekka Aalborg. The production building from 1963 testifies to the industrial history of the neighborhood with its raw and distinctive character, almost demanding to be conquered by urban street culture. Our main concept is to merge the informal nature of street activities into the existing laboratory building frames, creating spatial 'experiments' that inspire new connections between the many activities. Rather than separating them, an urban melting pot is created that encourages spontaneous activity and surprising events.

They were planning to run a cafe plus yoga studio in a space of about 100 square meters, and wanted to design it properly so that these two areas are well settled. They asked to divide not-a-big space into two parts, make a proper separation of two spaces with different features, and make it possible to appreciate the park in the east even indoors.
