Seongsu is a district where raw industrial materiality coexists with refined contemporary sensibilities, creating a distinct sense of place. SSOC builds on this context by presenting a contemporary Asian dining experience that reinterprets traditional Asian food culture through a modern aesthetic. The project is centered on the idea of a "new harmony within diversity," where contrasting elements come together to form a cohesive spatial identity.

Located within the renovated commercial complex Temple Lane in Chengdu, Spring Patio is a Yunnan restaurant and bar designed by amass. The project explores how new spatial elements can grow lightly beneath the preserved structural framework of an existing building. The design strategy focuses on retaining and revealing the original structure. Exposed brick, concrete and structural elements remain visible, while the interior intervention is conceived as a light layer—almost like a sketch drawn over the existing architecture. Contemporary functions are inserted with restraint, and readily available industrial materials are widely used to establish a dialogue between new and existing elements.

Located in Danjingshan Town, Pengzhou, Sichuan, the Jianjiang Small Train Linear Park is a comprehensive tourism route centered on railway stations, organically connecting dining, exhibitions, arts, and heritage revitalization. Its predecessor, the Peng-Bai Railway, was a narrow-gauge line opened in 1961. Although operations ceased in 2004, it remains an irreplaceable emotional bond for the people of Pengzhou. In 2024, driven by the "Operations-Led" philosophy, Jiulong Xinchuang and UN-GROUP launched a revival plan. They proposed the concept of "Time Fold · Rebirth on Tracks," linking over ten project nodes via 3.5 kilometers of rail, with full completion expected by 2026.

Designed as an architectural journey of concealment and revelation, the Lair fuses raw materiality, layered spatial transitions, and oriental undertones to create a sanctuary of curated indulgence. Located in the heart of Gurgaon, the Lair plays with the ideas of secrecy and intimacy. It is not just a bar—it is a meticulously constructed narrative that slowly unveils itself through light, shadow, and form. The design choreographs a movement from openness to enigma, from bustling social zones to hidden private corners.

Mocha evokes the raw, monolithic grandeur of ancient quarries and the sculpted cave dwellings of the dwarves of Moria. Dominated by massive, stratified columns and overhanging volumetric forms, the design creates an immersive spatial experience that blurs the boundaries between structure and enclosure. The space is dominated by colossal, seemingly hewn volumes that emerge as if sculpted directly from the earth, their textured surfaces bearing the stratigraphic language of geological time.

Located in Prospect Heights of Brooklyn, the Fujianese restaurant Nin Hao has a given space that is 16 feet tall with abundant sunlight coming from its south and east-facing curtain walls. Therefore, the sense of transparency is omnipresent in this space. Two materials that interact with light differently were implemented surrounding the dining space -translucent Austrian curtains along the windows soften the sunlight, creating a gentle interplay between light and shadow. This filtered light, in turn, reflects off the polycarbonate-paneled wall on the opposite side, diffusing throughout the space and contributing to an atmosphere that feels airy, bright, and ever-changing.

The Longquan Mountain Observatory, a building at the highest point of Chengdu city, is intended to be a flowing element of the landscape. To achieve this, the design uses artificial means to engage in a dialogue with the vast scenery, so that the building does not rise abruptly out of the mountains, but rather appears as a rising surface, responding to the topography in a fluid way. The horizontal stance is above all a reflection of the landscape of the Chengdu Plain. It is composed of a series of horizontally oriented interfaces with different heights, which are in turn connected to each other in a continuous manner.

Reflecting the concept of CASACOR Minas 2024, the project is based on respect and preservation of the features, pigments, and layers that already existed in the property. On this solid foundation, elements essential for the operation of the bar were added. Functionally, an inviting and comfortable environment was created. The project values the contrast between the old and the new, between textures and materials, and explores opacities, reflections, and transparencies.

A small, cozy restaurant in Copenhagen, featuring unique, raw furniture and objects, all handmade in Poland. Amator is a new, beloved spot for guests in the peaceful district of Copenhagen – Østerbro. It combines a café, a restaurant, and a venue for private dinners, which the owner, Mateusz Sarnowski, known as Mati Pichci, describes as a "home dining room" (in Danish: hjemme spisested). Mati's favorite dish, the classic omelet, is the centerpiece and iconic item on the menu. During the day, the kitchen serves breakfasts and lunches, offering light, flavorful dishes based on seasonal vegetables. Evenings are reserved for private and corporate candlelit dinners. Mati began his journey in Copenhagen five years ago as an intern at the renowned restaurant Noma, and his passion eventually led him to open his own place. He approached his friend, Adam Wierciński, founder of wiercinski-studio, to help bring his vision to life. The result of their collaboration is the first interior in Copenhagen designed by the Polish architect.
