More about this product

Designtex’s privacy curtains include a diverse selection of styles, ranging from gestural mark-making effects to geometric motifs and nature-inspired forms.

Painted Stripe evokes brushstrokes on a canvas. The soft transitions from one color to the next create a soothing mood, ideally suited to environments focused on the enhancement of wellbeing. In addition, Designtex Painted Stripe has strong sustainability credentials, being certified to Oeko-Tex Standard 100, a textile-specific multi-attribute standard developed in Europe.

In Progress, the boldness of an oversized plaid is balanced by subtle colorways and crisp linework, while in Variegated vertical lines of varied color and weight are overlaid with horizontals placed at irregular intervals to produce a soft, almost textural feel.

Salt Waves, part of the Designtex + Charley Harper collection, was inspired by Harper’s design for an advertisement for the Morton Salt Company Industrial Division. His artwork depicted the geological layers beneath the earth where the company mined its minerals as a series of undulating bands of color. In the Salt Waves curtain, the design is rotated 90 degrees from the original artwork, resulting in graceful vertical sweeps of color and line.

Fun and bold, Sprout’s elemental organic motif suggests both a flower and a cloud; viewed in repetition, the multiplied form becomes a garden or the sky overhead, constructing a pattern that is striking in its simplicity. With saturated, clean color in a palette that is both bright and calming, this design grabs attention.
