The Accelerator Unit at Hospital La Paz is a compact, state‑of‑the‑art healthcare facility designed as a modular pavilion to support physical rehabilitation and research programs for young patients. Conceived by Murado & Elvira Architects, the unit is positioned on a rooftop terrace and functions as a sequence of connected therapeutic, exercise, and laboratory spaces that create a welcoming environment distinct from the main hospital building.

Garnica’s Elegance maple-faced plywood was specified for interior walls and ceilings to achieve a warm, natural aesthetic that supports patient well‑being while meeting the performance and durability demands of a busy medical setting.
