The Series 8900 Hinged Door supports large-format glazing with panel sizes up to 48" W x 120" H for single doors and up to 96" W x 120" H for paired configurations. For performance under load, single-panel doors achieve ratings of CW 50 (outswing) and LC25 (inswing), ensuring suitability for demanding exterior conditions and high-use environments.
Performance
Engineered with advanced thermal break technology, the system delivers strong energy performance with U-factors as low as 0.30. The door comes standard with dual-glazed LoE-366 glass with Argon, with optional LoE-i89 and triple-glazed configurations available to further optimize thermal efficiency. The Series 8900 Hinged Door complies with California Title 24 and other stringent state energy code requirements.
The door system is designed for smooth and precise operation through Euro Groove-mounted, two-way adjustable hinges. Stainless steel roller catches help ensure a tight and secure fit, while an integrated multi-point locking system enhances both security and weather resistance.
