Custom Interior Woodwork in City Apartment | TSIGENIS WOODCRAFT

Tsigenis Woodcraft is a Greek workshop specializing in high-end woodwork and custom interior solutions for homes, hotels, and commercial spaces. Custom interior constructions from Tsigenis were applied in City Apartment, a pair of Airbnb residences in Heraklion, Crete, Greece.

The project unites two autonomous homes under a single design concept defined by contemporary aesthetics and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Although designed for short-term stays, each residence functions as a fully equipped home, emphasizing comfort, practicality, and the feeling of genuine everyday living.

Tsigenis Woodcraft executed a wide range of bespoke constructions throughout the apartments. Kitchens feature custom islands, while TV units and a multifunctional composition combine the entrance unit, library, and workspace into a cohesive, highly functional element. Rustic oak surfaces add depth and character to the interiors, complementing clean lines and modern detailing. In the bedrooms, custom-made headboards and decorative vertical wall slats subtly enhance the architectural composition. Bathrooms include custom cabinetry, mirrors, integrated smart storage, and specialized features such as ventilated perforated slatted doors for washing machine enclosures within green-toned furniture units. Reinforced lacquered entrance doors complete the residences with a crisp, contemporary expression.

The result is a pair of Airbnb residences that transcend the conventional short-term rental, delivering spaces that are warm, functional, and carefully curated to feel like fully realized homes.
