Several roof drainage solutions from Dallmer were applied in the Dallmer Green Roof project in Arnsberg, Germany.

Completed in 2018, the project forms part of the company’s fifth extension, designed to expand production and administrative capacity while demonstrating an integrated approach to sustainable architecture. The building is distinguished by an ecologically significant green roof, which contributes to improved air quality, enhanced interior climate, and responsible rainwater management.

Dallmer developed the roof drainage concept in-house, integrating roof drains, overflow drains, and raising pieces from its own product range. Solutions such as the SuperDrain 62 roof drain, SuperDrain 62 DallBit overflow drain, CeraLine elements, and the 630 FPO-PP raising piece were selected to ensure reliable drainage performance while supporting the roof’s vegetated structure. With a cultivatable area of nearly 800 m², the system retains large volumes of rainwater, releasing it gradually through evaporation and significantly reducing the load on the public sewer network.
