Vestal is a specialist in crafting custom hotel furniture and architectural woodwork for projects in the commercial, public, and private sectors. Custom hospitality furniture and architectural woodwork by Vestal were used in Gundari, a hotel development located on the island of Folegandros, Greece, including fixed installations, architectural joinery, and custom-built solutions that form an integral part of the architectural concept.
Designed by Block722, Gundari is a low-density hotel complex developed on an approximately 80-acre coastal site. The project is composed of suites, villas, and shared facilities distributed along the natural contours of the landscape. Architecture follows the topography through linear stone walls, recessed volumes, and partially embedded structures, allowing buildings to integrate into the terrain while maintaining open views toward the Aegean Sea.

Natural materials are used consistently across the project, with stone forming primary structural and retaining elements, complemented by timber components that articulate transitional spaces between interior and exterior areas. The complex includes 27 suites and villas, as well as shared facilities such as a bar-restaurant and a spa located within the lower zone of the site, where built volumes are partially concealed within the landscape to reduce visual impact.

Within the project, Vestal manufactured and installed a coordinated range of bespoke furniture and architectural woodwork. The scope included room furniture, central furniture elements, wardrobes, and doors, as well as reception and bar components. Additional works included pergolas and wood paneling integrated into both interior and exterior spaces, aligned with the architectural layout and material palette of the project.
