Lamberts manufactures profiled glass solutions designed for durable, high-performance architectural applications across façades and exterior building envelopes. Lamberts prismasolar glass was used in the La Coruña Center for the Arts, an arts center in La Coruña, Spain, combining a dance school and a museum in a single architectural volume.

Designed by Acebo X Alonso, the building merges two distinct functions within one spatial envelope. The concrete structures of the dance school are compact and functionally organized, while the museum wraps around these cores like a permeable shell, creating a light-filled, open interior. The architecture is defined by contrasts: mass meets lightness, enclosure meets transparency. This interplay between solid and open volumes establishes a dynamic environment where the museum and dance school coexist visually and functionally, providing a rich experience for visitors and performers alike.
The museum’s outer facade consists of Lamberts prismasolar ornament glass, chosen to diffuse light and produce reflections that animate the interior spaces. The fragmenting effect of the glass prevents direct visibility from outside while creating dynamic patterns of light and shadow within. Glass panes are installed at varying angles, refracting daylight in multiple directions and giving the building’s exterior a constantly changing appearance. The durable, high-performance ornament glass supports both the aesthetic ambitions and functional requirements of the arts center.
