Elval Colour manufactures coating solutions for sustainable building envelopes and materials. The Ritz-Carlton Residences in Limassol is a 33-storey residential tower designed by Marfields Design, featuring etalbond® A2 aluminum composite panels on its façade.
Located along the eastern seafront of Limassol, the tower establishes a prominent landmark within the city’s skyline. The project houses high-specification residences, with layouts designed to maximize sea views and natural light. The architectural concept follows the idea of the “typical floor,” comprising four apartments per level, combining clarity in plan with variety in orientation and finishes. Materials such as aluminum composite panels, marble, wood, and glass were selected to provide comfort and comply with Cyprus' safety, fire protection, and energy efficiency regulations.
The building envelope is clad with etalbond® A2 aluminum composite panels in the shades of Anapurna White and RAL 260, using a 70% PVDF 3 coating system. The non-combustible composition of etalbond® A2 complies with the fire safety and durability requirements of high-rise construction. The PVDF coating provides resistance to ultraviolet radiation and severe weather conditions, ensuring long-term color stability and material integrity. The selected tones create a balanced façade expression that aligns with the coastal environment and the project’s contemporary aesthetic.
