FDT is part of the Holcim group alongside Elevate EMEA, specializing in complete waterproofing systems and offering comprehensive services for all project phases. The climbing facility at the Technical University of Munich’s Olympic Park campus combines architecture, sport, and sustainability through a design that encourages interaction and community. Its roof is waterproofed with the Rhepanol hfk membrane, selected for its performance, durability, and clean appearance.
Developed from polyisobutylene (PIB), Rhepanol hfk is a homogeneous, fleece-laminated synthetic roofing membrane certified under FLL in accordance with DIN EN 13948. Available in widths of up to 1.50 m, it can be mechanically fastened through a covered membrane edge, a Velcro system, or a combination of both, accommodating roof pitches of up to 20°.
