The hotel combines classical references with contemporary hospitality design, with interiors recently revitalized by Rottet Studio. From public areas to the spa and indoor pool, the spaces use refined materials, sculptural lighting, and curated artwork to create a calm, cohesive guest experience with views toward Lake Michigan.
Jonite provided custom-engineered stone pool grates specified to align with the stone and tile finishes of the hotel’s pool environment. The system integrates slip resistance and efficient water management while maintaining a consistent visual profile suitable for high-traffic hospitality use. The material composition supports long-term durability and ease of maintenance.
Installed in 2023, the pool grates contribute to a continuous edge detail around the waterline and adjacent circulation areas. The custom sizing and modular configuration allow coordination with the pool layout and surrounding floor pattern, balancing functional performance with a restrained aesthetic.
