Located in the Kai Tak district on the former airport site, Monaco is a large-scale residential development contributing to the area’s ongoing transformation into a mixed-use hub. The project provides harbour views, landscaped communal areas, wellness facilities, curated retail, and connections to major transport links. The development focuses on integrated amenities and everyday convenience.

Drawing on a waterfront design language, the development incorporates refined, linear detailing across public and semi-public zones. To support this approach, reinforced stone trench grates from Jonite were supplied via CFLink, Jonite’s exclusive distributor in Hong Kong. The grates were produced in an ash grey tone to coordinate with the wider architectural palette and surrounding hardscape.

Specified to meet D400 load class standards, the trench grates are designed for heavy-duty applications, including occasional vehicular access in shared surfaces. An anti-slip surface supports safety in high-traffic outdoor areas and in varied weather conditions. The installation aligns ground infrastructure with the project’s overall design intent, providing consistent performance and visual continuity across communal zones.
