RAK Ceramics produces LUCE, a backlight-compatible porcelain slab designed to bring lighting and materiality together in interior spaces. Manufactured with high-purity clays and feldspars, LUCE allows light to pass through the body of the tile, creating a soft, glowing effect when backlit. The slabs are suitable for vertical applications such as partitions, accent walls, or illuminated counters where ambient design is a priority.

LUCE slabs are available in calibrated formats for wall-mounted and vertical installation. Finishes are optimized for uniform light diffusion and can be paired with custom lighting systems behind the tile. The range includes warm and neutral tones with a smooth matte surface designed to eliminate glare while preserving depth.
