Gresmanc Group, a Spanish family business with over 30 years of experience, specializes in manufacturing extruded stoneware solutions for façades, flooring, and pools, with a focus on quality, innovation, and sustainability.
Gresmanc Group's Z5 Multifunctional System was used for the ceramic ventilated façade in a student residence building on Merrion Street in Leeds, UK.
The Student Residence is a high-rise student housing development completed in 2024. Located in the north of Leeds' Arena Quarter, close to the city's universities, the building offers 660 spaces across self-contained studios and five-bedroom apartments with communal areas. Designed by SimpsonHaugh and Partners Architects, this project contributes to the increasing density of high-rise buildings in the area.
For this project, Gresmanc Group's Z5 Multifunctional System was applied, specified by Project Partners TI Dynamic Facades. The system incorporated ceramic panels in Green Glossy and Yellow Glossy colors, contributing to the building's exterior design. The use of an extruded stoneware ventilated façade system provides durability and resistance.
