WAYNERR® turns recycled leather into high-performance, low-profile insulation and decor—sustainable, silent, and seriously smart. WAYNERR®'s sound-absorbing products were used at the TETELA lawyers' office, located in Puszczykowo, Poland.
The TETELA lawyers' office was planned and delivered by Bio Organica, an official WAYNERR distributor in Poland. The acoustic design for the law office focused on improving speech intelligibility, controlling reverberation, and limiting sound transmission between spaces. Acoustic materials were selected and arranged to reduce echo within the room and ensure even sound distribution. Barriers and insulation measures were applied to block noise from entering the corridor and to prevent sound from leaking out, particularly through a glass door connecting to an adjacent space.
A secondary focus was placed on the lawyers' immediate work zones. Treatments were applied around individual workstations to create localized acoustic comfort by reducing incoming and outgoing sounds. Additionally, a mobile green wall was introduced as the primary source of internal noise, acting as a flexible acoustic shield within the workspace.
Problem:
- Reverberation and echo in the entire room 89 dB
- Noise penetrating the room through the corridor 183 dB
- Sounds from the office penetrating the corridor 56 dB
- Sounds penetrating the 2nd room through the glass door 58 dB
Solution:
The project utilized WAYNERR® acoustic screens and sound-absorbing components, including Acoustic Sandwich Solution partitions designed to block both incoming and outgoing sound. All elements were produced using proto-natural, ecological, and sustainable materials developed with WAYNERR®’s proprietary Swiss technology.
To achieve optimal sound distribution, the design incorporated WAYNERR® Acoustic Deco Panel STUDIO units (48 × 48 cm, 1–3 cm thick), made from natural-origin collagen. These panels are non-flammable, hypoallergenic, bacteria-free, and contribute to indoor microclimate regulation. Additionally, an NRC-0.9 Class A1 acoustic solution was applied, combining two WAYNERR® Termo-Noise Acoustic Sandwich Solution layers: a 2 cm thick collagen/sand composite (WAYNERR® Sand Panel, 53 × 35 cm) and a full collagen Acoustic Deco Panel STUDIO. This configuration ensures high sound absorption, effective reverberation control, and a comfortable acoustic environment for focused work.
Result:
- Reverberation and echo in the entire room 22 dB
- Noise penetrating the room through the corridor 37 dB
- Sounds from the office penetrating the corridor are inaudible at this time
- Sounds penetrating the 2nd room through the glass door 27.5 dB
