Longboard manufactures premium interior & exterior aluminum building products in a wide range of woodgrain, solid color, specialty & custom finishes. Longboard's 6" V-Groove Planks were used in the redesign of Killeen High School, located in Killeen, Texas, USA.
Killeen High School in Killeen, Texas, has undergone a full modernization, updating its 58-year-old facility. The project included extensive interior renovations, new additions, and site improvements to create a more functional learning environment and support a growing student population.
Designed by PBK Architects, the modernization balances the school's long-standing traditions with contemporary updates. The project features a two-story academic wing with 78 classrooms, 16 science labs and dedicated spaces for agriculture, robotics, engineering and computer labs.
The project expanded the existing structure by approximately 432,685 square feet. Key areas, including career and technical education classrooms, the auditorium, main gym and library, underwent extensive renovations. The new academic wing offers state-of-the-art facilities to support a wide range of educational programs.
This modernization revitalizes a longstanding educational facility, aligning it with current standards and preparing it to serve future generations. The updates support modern teaching methods and give students access to advanced resources.

Application of Longboard products:
Longboard Architectural Products were incorporated into the modernization to create a durable and visually cohesive exterior. The design features 6-inch Tongue & Groove Planks in a Light National Walnut finish, blending natural warmth with long-lasting performance.
