Trevor Brown High School’s auditorium, part of a comprehensive renovation project completed in 2023, reflects the importance of combining acoustics with aesthetics in modern educational facilities. Located in Phoenix, Arizona, the school’s new auditorium is designed to support various performances and events, and its ceiling design plays a central role in achieving the ideal acoustic environment.
Flannery Trim’s Strata Ceiling Cloud Edge (ACCE) was used throughout the auditorium’s design to enhance both sound quality and visual appeal. The ACCE trim, known for its smooth, refined look, allows for easy integration of custom radius curves, creating dynamic ceiling patterns. This flexibility, along with a wide range of available sizes, makes it a perfect fit for large spaces like the auditorium, where acoustical clarity is essential.
In addition to the ACCE, other Strata trims, including the Drywall Ceiling Cloud Edge (DCCE) and Acoustical Ceiling Transition trims, were used to connect different ceiling elements and enhance the aesthetic flow.
