Fiberon® Compatible Trim Profiles
The collection includes four distinct profiles, each tailored to enhance the installation and appearance of Fiberon® Cladding systems:
- Siding Inside Corner: Provides a clean and durable transition at interior 90° angles, ensuring a polished finish where cladding panels meet inside corners.
- Siding X-Mold: Facilitates a seamless intersection between siding panels, creating a uniform appearance and allowing for design flexibility in panel layout.
- Siding Outside Corner: Designed for exterior 90° angles, this trim ensures a sharp, professional edge where cladding panels converge on outside corners.
- Siding J-Mold: Offers a refined termination point for siding panels, providing a neat edge and accommodating panel expansion and contraction.
Material Specifications
All Fiberon® compatible trims are extruded from aluminum alloy 6063 T5 with a nominal wall thickness of .050". They are available in 10' lengths and come in finishes such as Clear Anodized, Mill Finish (suitable for field painting and priming), and limited quantities of Black Anodized. Custom finishes, including Chem-film and custom paint orders, are available upon request.
Installation Recommendations
For optimal performance, it is recommended to attach these trims to furring strips with screws, ensuring alignment with the specific requirements of each profile. The Fiberon® cladding should be installed after the trims are securely in place. For detailed installation guidelines, please refer to Fiberon’s official installation instructions.
