AFC provides durable and versatile fiber cement solutions for a variety of architectural applications. Northlake Commons in Seattle, WA, features AFC’s Zenor fiber cement panels on its biophilic mass timber life science building.
Northlake Commons building includes office and lab space, a warehouse, retail, a retail showroom, restaurants, and a large outdoor public plaza. The architects drew inspiration from the experience of being deep within the woods of the Pacific Northwest, celebrating the timber history of the original Dunn family business and recognizing the human desire for a connection to nature. AFC's Zenor high-density fiber cement panels cover the entire façade of this 60,000 sf structure.
