Mardegan Legno is Superfici d’Autore (signature surfaces)—their products are hand-crafted by artisans using wood sourced from sustainably managed forests with more than 140 colors to choose from. Wooden flooring from Mardegan Legno's Querce Millenarie, Firenze Style and Pezzi Unici collections was used in Belgravia Palace, located in London, United Kingdom.
Belgravia Palace dates back to the early 19th century and consists of four stories and a basement. It's part of the Grade ll* listed terrace located within the Belgravia Conservation Area, in the center of London. The plot includes an extension to the rear called Wilton Mews Street. For several decades, starting from the 1940s, the house served as the headquarters of the Royal Institution of Naval Architects, with the extension to Wilton Mews being constructed in the early 1950s. Schneider Designers were brought on to restore the building to its original purpose, transforming it into a single-family residence and offering a high-quality living experience.

The challenge was to balance the building's heritage value with the demands of a modern family home. The existing structure was enhanced while preserving its historical essence to achieve this. Contemporary luxuries were integrated into original spaces, while a new extension was added to house a swimming pool, gym, sauna, games room, dining and kitchen area, and a two-car garage.
Mardegan Legno timber products were chosen as flooring in the Billard room and living area, and various walls:
