The Gaudí sun bed was designed by Matteo Nunziati and introduced in 2022 by the furniture manufacturer Flou, an Italian company dedicated to innovation in furniture making. The Gaudí combines wood with comfort-oriented seating.
It is an outdoor lounger with an aluminium-coated frame and white epoxy powder paint. It has details on the headboard and the front feet of Iroko wood, which comes in three finishes: natural, gray-stained, and coffee brown.
The base of the Gaudí is covered with water-repellent technical fabric and it is fitted with a manually reclinable backrest, completed with a self-draining, non-deformable mattress of single density.
As with other signature Flou pieces, the Gaudí’s covers are completely removable, these, however, are made in outdoor upholstery. The cover is made of waterproof and breathable polyester fabric, which allows the lounger to keep its condition even when unused, as it protects it from atmospheric agents and from sun radiation.
The posterior portion of the chair is fitted with one-directional wheels in thermoplastic material, to facilitate its movement.
The lounger is the natural extension of the Gaudí outdoor collection of sofas and armchairs. It reflects the same lines and materials used and it is ideal for a day sunbathing by the pool or for completing outdoor areas for socializing with friends and family.
To adapt to every style of décor and taste, the iroko wood used to produce the structure and the feet are available with a natural finish or stained gray or coffee-brown.
