Sliding Glass Panels in Abanca Offices | Klein

KLEIN^® products were installed in offices for Abanca in Spain. Abanca is the leading financial institution in Northwest Spain, recently their offices were renovated with a new design concept. Part of the renovation included creating flexible spaces with Rollglass+ sliding system from KLEIN.

Design Concept

The new design aimed at achieving greater efficiency and comfort for both clients and staff members. Wanting a warm and collaborative atmosphere that tied in with its corporate identity, the new communal space concept is centered around an airy and bright open-plan area with commercial help desks, interactive units, and informal meeting spaces.

Partition Installations

To meet the needs for privacy when required, each office includes at least two meeting rooms, separated from the open-plan space by glass fronts and sliding doors installed on a single recessed Rollglass+ system from KLEIN. These glass partitions create privacy while maintaining spatial continuity. The Rollglass+ system offers a minimalist design, with the top track recessed in a dropped ceiling, and without the need for a lower profile. This creates an invisible system that blends into its surroundings.

Smooth Operation

The sliding door operates smoothly and silently, offering a wide passageway without any obstacles. The soft closing system ensures safety and convenience for the user with the braking system preventing the door from slamming with no bounceback both when opening and closing the door. The glass partition offers privacy while still allowing in natural light.
