OTIIMA is an innovative minimal frame window and door system. Its 3/4” sight lines, limitless size, and configurations are backed by a great warranty. 38 Series glass systems from OTIIMA were used in the Fort 137 House, an entirely sustainable home located in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The architect of this project, Daniel Chenin, found his inspiration for Fort 137 in the isolation of the westernmost point of the Las Vegas Valley. Expanding across the entire facade of the home, OTIIMA glass doors on the North and South encompass the living space beyond the architectural perimeter. The doors allow cross-ventilation and daylight, providing an endless view of the Red Rock Canyon Conservation Area.
The residence is largely comprised of carefully chosen native and regionally sourced materials that complement and evolve with the site as they age. Due to the need for balance between the interior and the exterior, OTIIMA windows were chosen for the thinness of the profile and the range of finish options. The curated architectural material palette includes weathered steel, reconstituted oak, and limestone.
