More about this product

Viaplant is a plant-based creative material made for architecture and design. Created by Leptek-Terv, a landscape architecture studio, it started as a form of artistic expression of the landscaping experience, using only plant components with a renewable cycle of one year or less. The company sources and manufactures all its products locally at its headquarters in Hungary.

Situated in the heart of the Hungarian capital, the Bartók House was completed in 2003. Viaplant was asked to create something unique in the office building chill-out area to enhance the well-being of the office colleagues on-site. Its long-term solution was to apply materials with organic components and create an energizing indoor surrounding.

Plant-Based Wall Coverings

40 pieces of POA nature custom-made Viaplant panels rejuvenated the interior just like the surrounding nature. The chevron-patterned partition wall was designed and implemented by the Viaplant team, using CNC technology.

To illuminate the wall, the team created parallelogram-shaped LED panels to match the shape of Viaplant material and deployed a special solution, meaning that the lighting units are fixed with magnets, so they can be easily replaced.
