Kitchen equipment from Gaggenau was used in the Ibiza home of the founder of the private club NINE, Timmy Coles-Liddle.
House Design
Having an eye for architecture, Timmy has always wanted to find a house with period architecture and meld it with contemporary designs. After searching for two years, Timmy and his partner Luigi discovered a dilapidated 500-year-old Finca, situated north of Ibiza. The renovation has included adding windows to the windowless structure and creating a cultural experience inspired by his global travel.
Kitchen Design
When designing the kitchen, Timmy wanted to use modern appliances to create a functional space that sits in contrast to 16th-century architecture. Having knowledge of the Gaggenau brand, Timmy and his partner both desired to use the products in their kitchen design, drawn in by their sleek black appearance which would sit in contrast to the stone house.
The concept behind the design was a minimalist kitchen that still maintained a feeling of warmth and comfort, the kitchen itself took two years to complete. The space was expanded by carving out the courtyard, creating one continuous, spacious level. Gaggenau appliances used included ovens and a flex induction cooktop.
